LIMITED EDITION: I found this leather secondhand, and was able to make just a handful of these.

This is roughout leather, it is not suede. Roughout leather is a full piece of leather, with the “rough” side turned to the outside. It has a similarly textured feel to suede, but it is more durable. (Suede is made by splitting a full piece of leather, therefore it is thinner and more easily stained or scratched.) As you will see from the photos, the more traditional texture of leather is on the inside of this pouch.

• though leather is durable, try not to get the pouches wet, be careful of scratching the leather, etc.
